Igbo festival event normally called "Igbofest" is a bi-annual event where Igbos in Manitoba province come together to celebrate our cultural heritage with friends and families. The event is well known by different communities in Winnipeg, and has been attended by dignitaries both from Canada and Nigerian over the years. During this event, we showcase our culture through food, different Igbo dances, brief Igbo history, performance of our famous masquerade called "Mgbadike" or "Agaba" and other activities.

This helps our growing community in Manitoba to network with other invited communities and visitors towards engaging in different humanitarian/volunteering activities important to Umunna. Click below for some Igbofest galleries.
